SUMMARY-INFO: Generally
I don’t like post this upcoming films, not because I don’t like them but I just
prefer use this blog for those not very sonorous films and no this kind of high
budget ones. “Rings” is a sequel from the “original” 2002 film called “The Ring”- in fact is the third installment - which it was also a remake from
“Ring” a horror film Japanese. Directed by Spanish Francisco Javier Gutierrez,
this will be his second feature film at all, he has have experience as a
producer with Demonic in 2015. Written by three disproportionate writers in
terms of experience, first is Jacob Estes (The Details) with no haul on horror
films, the second is David Loucka (Dream House, House at the End of the Street)
with two horror – thriller films on his shoulders, and the most experimented is
Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind, I, Robot, The Da Vinci Code, I Am Legend, The
5th Wave) a Oscar winner with “A Beautiful Mind” and his unique experience in
horror is “I Am Legend”. Produced by the same producers from “Original” and
sequel “Ring” film, the three times Oscar nominated Walter F. Parkes( Men in
Black) and Laurie MacDonald. With Guillermo Del Toro as executive producer.
