STORYLINE: A genre-defying mixture of horror,
sci-fi, myth, mystery and thrills told as four interlocking tales in one
intelligent anthology. Ghosts, spirits, creatures, demons and more from the
paranormal world collide with rational curiosity.

SUMMARY-INFO: “The Dark
Tapes” a typical name with a normal plot apparently, after all, all the movies
we’ve seen and all the movies we will see in the future, it has been told in
one or another moment. The important is tell the story correctly, always
letting us with some kind of anxiety, projecting through spectators that
storytelling capacity from the creators. This is film it’s co directed by Vincent
J Guastini an neophyte in matters of being director but a man with experience
in make-up and special effects departments. The other director is Michael McQuown
who also is the writer and creator, a same neophyte like the director both has
venture with this films and so far, hasn’t disappointed. But the cast is
comprised by many names, because this film is an anthology, to be exact four
stories. But well, here are some of them: Courtney palm (Zombeavers), Emilia
Ares Zoryan (V/H/S viral), Anna Rose Moore (Patient Seven) a no well-known
members.
EXPECTATION: My
expectation are huge, always when an about to be release film comes to us, my
measuring stick are the reviews or awards which films has won until now, and
this according IMDB, has won 14 awards and been nominated in others 16, so are
a lot of prizes and this maybe could tell me this films has something at least
good for other people, despite to be an low, pretty low budget film, has won
all these prizes, so is not the story per se it’s more important how you tell
it.
