INTERVIEW - NICK JONGERIUS' THE WINDMILL MASSACRE DIRECTOR

Elderfanfilms|Twitter | Facebook |

There is no words really to say how grateful I am with a great director as is Nick Jongerius. His first feature film up to now, "The Windmill Massacre" filmed in Netherland it's a great movie, everyone who likes bloody, gruesome films are more than invited to watch this film, very well directed and acted and has a remarkable cinematography too. Nick is a director with former works, but none of them it was like this film and he gave me the opportunity to talk with him, and surely I wanted ask him more things, and i know he would be disposed to answer them, but with these is ok by now, i hope you really could enjoy this informative and educational interview.

INTERVIEW - JORDAN GALLAND AVA'S POSSESSION DIRECTOR

Hello everyone, this time I have the pleasure to post you this great interview which i made it to Mr Jordan Galland, director of many films, but we focused on Ava's Possession, released this year on US, with a great reviews from critics and at festivals, so that, i felt bitten by the curiosity bug and decided to watched that film, and it was amazing. First its story; aftermaths suffered due by demonic possession and explaining that in that moment when mostly think that pains and suffering has been defeated, well not, is only beginning the really traumatic thing,  accepts what happened, avoids it repeated again, and searches answers.

Before to have had the possibility to talk with Jordan, I saw Ava's Possession film  and the first thing I imagined was this director must to be a Giallo Fan, I don't know, because of the tremendous colorful images I seen on the film, pretty intense reds, blues, yellows, reminded me a lot to Argento and Bava  films, but those people who doesn't seen it yet I totally recommend it, you will see a great film.

THURSDAY 1 DIC - NIGHT PREVIEWS : INCARNATE PREVIEWS

The numbers for Incarnate finally showed up and I can see why they were not in a rush to publish them. The film pulled in just $120,000 during midnight shows yesterday. That’s not the worst we’ve seen for a semi-wide or wider release, but it is close. In fact, it is so low that it is hard to find a good comparison. The three recent horror / thrillers we used as comparisons didn’t have previews or didn’t release preview box office numbers. Nearly ever horror / thriller released this summer was a hit, except The Darkness. That film earned $206,000 during its previews on its way to a $4.95 million opening weekend. If the two films had the same legs, then Incarnate will pull in $3 million this weekend. I think that’s on the high end of its box office potential.
